This week’s NGMC chart update has a bit of everything: familiar names holding their place, new songs breaking through quickly, and a few movements that are worth paying attention to.
The week of April 24, 2026 shows a chart landscape that is not fully settled. Some records are clearly becoming listener favourites, while a few new entries are already pushing their way into the main conversation.
For anyone following Nigerian gospel music closely, this week says a lot about where attention, trust and momentum are sitting right now.
Top 50: Chinyere Udoma Stays at No. 1, Dunsin Oyekan Makes a Big Entrance
“EBUBE DIKE” by Chinyere Udoma keeps its place at No. 1 on the Top 50, while “IHE DI GI MMA” climbs to No. 2. That alone tells you how strong Chinyere Udoma’s current run is.
EmmaOMG’s “Ko’rin Iyin” moves down to No. 3, with Gaise Baba’s “No Turning Back II” rising to No. 4.
The biggest story near the top, though, is Dunsin Oyekan’s “Praise the Lord (Live)”, which debuts at No. 5. That is not a quiet entry. A song entering this high usually means it has connected quickly, especially within worship audiences.
You can follow the full movement on the Top 50 chart page.
Worship: Dunsin Oyekan Debuts at No. 1
The Worship chart has a new leader this week. “Praise the Lord (Live)” enters straight at No. 1, giving Dunsin Oyekan one of the strongest worship debuts of the week.
Tkeyz moves up to No. 2 with “Oluwatosin”, while Sunmisola Agbebi sits at No. 3 with “Amioluwa”.
Kaestrings continues to build momentum with “Walk on Water (Live)” at No. 4, and Lawrence Oyor returns to the top five with “Favour”, re-entering at No. 5.
Praise: Chinyere Udoma Still Controls the Top
On Praise, Chinyere Udoma is still setting the pace. “EBUBE DIKE” holds No. 1, while “IHE DI GI MMA” moves up to No. 2.
EmmaOMG stays strong at No. 3 with “Ko’rin Iyin”, and “Eze Abata” remains at No. 4.
There is also a notable new entry from Paul Tomisin. “Reckless Lover” debuts at No. 5, giving the Praise chart a fresh name inside the top tier this week.
Afro-Gospel: “No Turning Back II” Remains the Song to Beat
Gaise Baba’s “No Turning Back II” stays at No. 1 on Afro-Gospel, continuing one of the strongest runs in the category right now.
Limoblaze makes a strong entry with “Tinbake” at No. 2. Moses Bliss follows with “Your Love” at No. 3, while “Unending Joy” drops to No. 4.
“E Dey Flow” also re-enters at No. 5, showing that Moses Bliss still has more than one active song pulling attention inside the same chart window.

What This Week Is Really Saying
The week of April 24 points to three clear stories.
First, Chinyere Udoma is not just leading. She is dominating two key positions at the top of the chart.
Second, Dunsin Oyekan has shown again that a strong worship release can enter high and immediately shift the conversation.
Third, Afro-Gospel is still highly competitive, but “No Turning Back II” remains the record everyone else is chasing.
