The latest NGMC week, dated April 3, 2026, brought major movement across all four boards: Top 50, Worship, Praise, and Afro-Gospel. If last week sounded like testimony, this week sounds like testimony with momentum.
Top 50: Chinyere Udoma and Moses Bliss reshape the top
The biggest headline on the main board is “EBUBE DIKE” by Chinyere Udoma rising to #1 from #4. Right behind it, “Unending Joy” by Moses Bliss re-entered at #2, and “Amioluwa” by Sunmisola Agbebi climbed to #3.
This top three says a lot about listener behavior right now:
- songs with strong worship identity are still crossing into broad listener territory
- legacy-rooted voices and younger revival voices are co-existing at the top
- people are rewarding songs they can pray with and still replay all week
One of the sharpest climbs came from Kaestrings’ “Let It Show (Live)”, jumping from #22 to #10.

Worship: Sunmisola leads, Lawrence Oyor surges
On the Worship chart, “Amioluwa” moved to #1, followed by “Walk on Water (Live)” at #2.
The strongest upward signal came from Lawrence Oyor’s “Favour,” which climbed from #12 to #4.
Also notable: Nathaniel Bassey’s “Ó Dára” returned at #5.
Re-entry songs do not come back by accident. They return when listeners keep them in spiritual rotation.

Praise: Chinyere Udoma holds authority
The Praise chart remains deeply anchored by Chinyere Udoma:
- #1 “EBUBE DIKE” (steady)
- #2 “IHE DI GI MMA” (up)
Then EmmaOMG’s “Ko’rin Iyin” sits at #3, with Tim Godfrey’s “My Daddy” steady at #4.
A fresh development here is Sinach’s “IDINMA (Dance)” entering at #5, showing that praise energy with dance-forward arrangement is still a strong lane.

Afro-Gospel: new leadership at the top
The biggest storyline in Afro-Gospel is the change at #1:
- “Unending Joy” by Moses Bliss jumps from #9 to #1
- “No Turning Back II” by Gaise Baba moves to #2 after leading last week
- “Look What You’ve Done” by Greatman Takit sits at #3
This is not a collapse for prior leaders. It is proof of how competitive the top lane is right now.
Also watch Paul Cleverlee’s “ANCHOR OF MY STRENGTH | Gerald Bishung,” which made one of the strongest climbs in the category (#20 to #8).

What this week is really saying
This week confirms three things clearly:
- Re-entry power is real
Songs are not only debuting. They are returning and winning. - Worship and Afro-Gospel are cross-pollinating faster
Tracks are no longer trapped in one listener lane. - The audience wants both fire and function
People are choosing songs that sound good, but also serve prayer, confession, and daily faith language.
If you only read rank positions, you miss the story.
The story this week is that Nigerian gospel listeners are building a chart culture where spiritual depth and streaming strength are no longer separate conversations.
