Minister GUC opens at the top of the NGMCharts Top 50 this week with “The Promise (Live),” a debut that pushes last week’s #1, Mercy Chinwo‘s “Okaka,” all the way down to #17. It is a week of heavy movement, with 12 re-entries flooding the chart and OLABEST’s “RATATA” leading all gainers with an eight spot climb.

Top 10 Movements

Minister GUC debuts at #1, marking a strong return to the summit for the veteran worshipper. Chinyere Udoma‘s “EBUBE DIKE” climbs one spot to #2, extending its remarkable 17 week run. Adeyinka Alaseyori‘s “Mọ̀ Mọ́ọ̀ré (Reimagined Version)” dips to #3 after peaking at #2 last week.

Vic Lucas climbs two spots to a new peak of #4 with “Yeshua!” Tkeyz‘s “Oluwatosin” makes the biggest jump in the Top 10, rising six places from #11 to #5. Gaise Baba‘s “Want to Grow” slides to #6, while Chinyere Udoma’s “IHE DI GI MMA” climbs two spots to #7.

Biggest Gainer

OLABEST’s “RATATA” featuring Mike Abdul and Adeyinka Alaseyori climbs eight spots from #32 to #24, the week’s biggest gainer on the chart. Tkeyz’s “Oluwatosin” also posts a strong six spot jump to #5, a new peak position for the song.

New and Returning Entries

Three songs debut this week. Minister GUC’s “The Promise (Live)” lands at #1. Adazion IJ enters at #9 with “Ihe Nyiri Mmadu Omome.” Moses Bliss debuts at #32 with “Too Faithful.”

The week sees an unusual 12 re-entries, including BBO’s “My God” (#15), Tim Godfrey’s “My Daddy” (#16), Chinyere Udoma’s “Eze Abata” (#22), Peterson Okopi’s “Congratulations” (#25), Moses Bliss’s “Your Love” (#28), and Steve Crown’s “You Are Yahweh” (#50).

Genre Charts

The Praise, Worship, and Afro-Gospel genre charts all share the same Top 10 as the main chart this week. Minister GUC leads all three at #1, with Chinyere Udoma’s “EBUBE DIKE” at #2 across the board. Adazion IJ’s “Ihe Nyiri Mmadu Omume” debuts at #9 on every genre chart, and BBO’s “Orun Si” rounds out the Top 10 on all three.

Chart Trends

This week is defined by turnover. With 24 songs declining and only 9 climbing, the chart is in a reset phase following Minister GUC’s debut at #1 and the flood of re-entries. Mercy Chinwo’s “Okaka” experienced the steepest drop, falling from #1 to #17 in its second week. Worship tracks continue to anchor the upper half, with Minister GUC, Chinyere Udoma, and Tkeyz representing the genre at the top.
